Swimwear days

Swimwear Days

A swimwear day is a wellness day on which swimwear is compulsory in all saunas and pools. At Thermen Maastricht, every Sunday is a swimwear day. On Tuesdays, this applies in odd-numbered weeks, and on Thursdays in even-numbered weeks. From 1 November, it will be swimwear day every Thursday. You’ll enjoy the same saunas, pools, relaxation areas and activity programme, but you’ll need to wear appropriate swimwear or sauna clothing all day. Always check the current calendar and book your visit in advance.

Frequently asked questions swimwear day

Swimwear must be worn on bathing days. Swimwear must be specifically designed for use in swimming and sauna facilities and made of Lycra, polyester or polyamide. This also applies to clothing that covers the body. However, we advise against wearing body-covering swimwear in our saunas, as this prevents the body from releasing heat effectively, which can lead to overheating and other health problems.

You don’t need to bring your own food or drinks. In fact, it’s not allowed. Let yourself be surprised in our restaurants. Much more enjoyable and tastier.

  • Large bath towel (for use in the saunas)

Yes, this is mandatory. This is to ensure the safety and health of our guests and staff, and to regulate the number of visitors. Without a reservation, we cannot grant you access to our resort.
